Sunderbruch FUN DAY - Saturday - June 30th - noon to dusk

Join us at Sunderbruch for a fun day of off-road biking events for both participants and spectators! This is a free event and no registration is necessary. However, those wishing to participate in the Time Trial or Jump Line Jam must be a paid FORC member. (You can join online.) See this thread to sign up to help with the events.

Schedule:

12:00 - 1:30 - Time Trial
1:30 - 2:30 - Jump Line Jam
2:30 - 4:00 - Group Rides
4:00 - 6:00 - Cook out
6:00 - 8:00 - Group Rides

Details:

12:00 - 1:30 - Time Trial
-Participants must be FORC members (day-of sign up available)
-Timed lap will be about 20 minutes
-Riders will leave every 2 minutes

1:30 - 2:30 - Jump Line Jam
-Participants must be FORC members (day-of sign up available)
-Show us your stuff on the jump line!
-Lot's of spectators needed!
-Photos/videos will be taken

2:30 - 4:00 - Group Rides
-Young kids ride/other activities (on lower section by creek)
-Older kids ride (on upper green loop)
-Adult beginner ride
-Medium-paced ride
-Fast ride

4:00 - 6:00 - Cook out
-Main grilling items will be provided (brats/burgers/buns/condiments)
-Bring a dish to pass & your own beverages

6:00 - 8:00 - Group Rides
-Slow-paced ride
-Medium-paced ride
-Fast ride

We are postponing this event to July 21st due to the Excessive Heat Warning that has been issued by the National Weather Service. It was a hard decision to make, but we want everyone to be safe and have fun and both of those things will be in jeopardy with the current forecast.

We will be having group ride in the morning (June 30th) at 9:30 a.m. for those of you that still want to get in a quick ride before they find a place to stay cool the rest of the day.
