Lap 1
Lap 2
I was trying to do lap by lap via my Blackberry, but it's not cooperating so well. AND my battery is about to go kaput! So this is the last pic for now.
Lap 3
Here's Lap 4, pretty similar to Lap 4...
Last Lap... Gunchie you should have owned this guy on the single-speed
Good job today!
50 MILES! and still smiling... what an animal. OH, not to mention we stumbled upon a Yeti Demo day afterward and gave that a go for 20 minutes!
One more thing, I have been calling it 'Battle of the Bear; it is actually the 'Front Range 50'. A race run in conjunction with 'Battle the Bear', part of the Denver Fat Tire Festival series.
Oh, and here is the first pic I posted... it was a tad small!
gunchie in tights...I now need to scrub my eyes with s.o.s. pads!
"ya, well...that's like...your...opinion. man."
I know, I know. Only during races that are 50+ miles. When the majority of the field wear them it's hard not too. Majority of the field were also pros. Dave Wiens (you know, 6 time winner of the Leadville 100 including his win against Lance Armstrong) passed me on the first lap! It was so cool! Don was awesome support! Not only did he takes some great shots, he also made sure I had plenty of HEED and Hammer Gel! Thanks again Don!
