I will attempt to make it after work, although it may be tough because I live about 45 minutes away. Need to bring a chainsaw or just shovels? Also, if you can provide an address so I can print out directions from DeWitt I would appreciate it.
thanks

We have a chainsaw already. I don't think we will need another one, but it wouldn't hurt to bring it just in case.
I do not know the address, but it is pretty easy to find. It may even be listed under parks/recreation on the points of interest in the GPS.
If you are coming from Dewitt, go to I-80, head Eastbound until you cross the Mississippi River, take the first exit right after the bridge, turn left onto IL-84, drive 2.2 miles and turn left into the park. There is a large brown sign with "Illiniwek Forest preserve" in yellow letters right before the entrance road and a campground on the right hand side of the road.
If you are still confused, this map may help: http://www.qcforc.org/trails/Illiniw...railSystem.pdf

One more thing, if you have a hand tamper or other soil compacting device bring it with you.

Besides my huge ass chainsaw and sweat, I only have two size 15's to offer.

Guys, forgot about student conferences tonight, I will not be able to make it. I will try and get there next time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
