Talking SBP Trail Night - June 29th, 2010

Guys and gals, let's get together and get the trails open!

A few people will be out as early as 4pm, others will be there around 5:30 or 6.

Primary objective is to remove all downed trees so the trails can be opened.

There are a few areas that will need weed whacking and dirt work as well.

Tools needed: a few chainsaws, shovels, loppers, and a few weed whackers.

Thanks to everyone who is planning on coming out to help get SBP open.

Sounds like people are just going to show up and head into the trails.... How do you coordinate the efforts so you dont get everyone walking the same trail when we all arrive at different times? Where should I go if no one is around?

I plan on coming down, packing a chain saw/mcleod/loppers/shovels, what ever you guys need. Have to find a Stihl dealer in town first to grab a new chain (unless someone lives close to one, lmk).

Why, I'm so glad you asked!

There will be someone in the parking lot coordinating the effort so you know where to go.

    Thanks for the help!

Are the trails going to be dry enough to ride tonight after we get done?

Not really sure...no harm in bringing your bike just in case!

I'd like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all your FORCers that showed up in force to get SBP ready to ride. Tonight you proved how great our club really is...you were given *one* night's notice and you all made it happen. Amazing!

    THANK YOU!!
