    Default Illiniwek: Sunday 4/21 @ 8am

Focusing efforts on the South Loop this Sunday. Starting at 8am and meeting in the Upper Lot on the South Loop (up by the salt dome) (map here).

We'll be rehabbing a few dirt berms, maintaining drainage features, and repairing the boardwalk on the South Down trail if we have time.

Needing to move quite a bit of dirt so bring a wheelbarrow if you have one. I'll have two, but a few more would be better. Rogue hoes, hand tampers, and flat shovels will also be needed. I'll have the set of club tools on hand.

General carpentry tools and impact/drill drivers with T25 bits will be needed for the boardwalk (if we have time). I'll have most of this, but another set will speed things up.

Please RSVP so we can get an idea of how much work we can tackle.

New to trailwork? Check out this quick guide on what to expect and how to prepare.

If we don't have baseball going on we'll be there.

Thanks again to all who helped today. We were able to re-deck the boardwalk on the South Down trail and repair/improve a few berms and dirt features along the South Loop.

One thing we didn't get finished is hauling out the old wood planks from the boardwalk and berm. If anyone has time to carry a few planks down to the end of the South Down trail and set them inside the woodline before the sledding hill for pickup that would be appreciated.

And old lady carried the remaining planks down the hill. Guess we need more hard working old ladies in the club!
