While FORC is known for its unique race medals and trophies I asked our ?Mama Joan?Wren, wife of FORC founder Rick Wren aka The Forcmeister, to make us some of her scarves for our Novice winners.

If you know Mama Joan her hands are always busy knitting scarves!

What I didn?t know is that those busy hands were making scarves for the homeless! Rick will take her out and not only deliver her homemade scarves, but, also provide new socks and snacks to the homeless in the area!
This year at the Sylvan Island Stampede we will be taking donations on behalf of Mama Joan to continue to spread her love and great act of kindness throughout our Community. We are looking for New, unused Socks (black, size large) or $$$ which she can use to purchase yarn and other supplies to continue her work 💗 🤗

As for the non-traditional colors, they represent your trail difficultly colors with Black being 1st, Blue 2nd & Green 3rd

As FORC Celebrates it?s 25th Anniversary year we THANK Forcmeister for your vision, ALL our volunteers for their hard work and most of all THANK YOU! Mama Joan for your love and continued support!

As you know trails don?t build themselves! 🍻
