Just curious what Freeze/Thaw means on the trail condition? I've got the itch and was thinking about bundling up for a ride this weekend (weather cooperating).
Thanks!

In depth article about freeze/thaw right here: Important Winter Trail Information
The short version: If trails are thawed/muddy during winter, users should treat them as closed to prevent rut damage. If the trails are frozen, there's no risk of damage and they can be used as if open. It's best to ride/hike before 10am in freeze/thaw conditions when dirt is still frozen from overnight low temps. Sunny conditions around midday can thaw bare dirt trails at temps well below freezing (26-28F).
