A friend of mine wants to get into mtn biking and is looking for an entry-level mtn bike. Anyone got something out there that they've been considering selling? My friend is 5' 11".

What's "entry level" and how much they looking to spend.
He said $300ish and I said he may have a tough time finding something. I did get a text from someone with a bike that may work. He did some riding when he lived up North but sold it when he relocated a couple years ago. I don't know his skill level to know how beginnerish of a bike he can get away with.

I'm not looking to give away any more bikes ;-).
"I've spent half of my life riding a bike, the other half I wasted!"
If he isn't looking for anything real fancy a friend has a older large trek. Could probably get it in the hundred or cheaper range. I'll find out what it is for sure.

Ballz, would you mind checking with your friend and perhaps have him snap a picture? Text it to me and I can then forward the text to Robert.
