So... I realize we've only had a week of nice weather, but of course we all want to hit the trails. Has anyone been out to look and see how they are progressing? Any ideas of when they might be ready? Days, weeks, months?

A good while, no way to put a timetable on it.
Looked at SBP this morning. The top few inches are nothing but muck, on top of completely frozen ground.
The spring warm up is always the worst time of the year -- we're all jones'n for singletrack somethin fierce but we just cannot use the trails right now.
Trust me, as soon as they're ready we'll open them!
"ya, well...that's like...your...opinion. man."
Illinewek is about the same as Sunderbruch. Drew and i have been working on the berms and it is really muddy. I would guess if the weather continues to be how it has been that Illinewek could be ready to ride is about two weeks. some of the south facing trail is getting firm but the north facing trail is really really soft.
Thanks for asking about trail conditions. we will be keeping a close eye on them. We all are dying to ride.
I may have to grow old, but I'll never have to grow up.
We worked on a back yard jump line this weekend and totally agree there is 3 to 4 inches of thaw then you hit the frost. That means all that melted snow is still in the top few inches with no where to go. Any areas with less sun like in the woods is really soggy. I thinks it's pavement for awhile still.
Just so you know FORC just posted on facebook that Sunderbruch is open now
