Yep I can't attend that I work till 8 on Mondays and wednesdays
Abby has T-Ball on Tuesdays & Thursdays and next week is the last week, so I'd like to make it to her games. If the trails aren't ready by Wednesday I might push it back a day to next Thursday, but no promises.
is Scott County Park trails closed now?
Protect the bike, skin grows back...
Yes.
Nonsense! You should go to that t ball game. Kids are only little once and to miss events like a last t ball game just so a bunch of adults can race bikes would be regrettable. Family first. We will understand.

Dirt Don't Hurt
Good advice, Dirt.
Reminding everyone that last week's round of the FORC TT Series at Scott County Park was rescheduled to tomorrow, June 24 (Wednesday). If the ScoCoPa trails are still closed we will move it to a different park if they are open (SBP or IFP). I will post up on this thread and the FORC Facebook page if we need to move it...make sure you check the trail status and this thread before making the drive!

Scott County Park's trails are still closed, and they won't tip their hat as to whether or not they will be opening them up this afternoon SO, we are going to move today's TT to Sunderbruch.
Y'all know the drill, meet at the SBP parking lot/pavilion before the event in time to get signed up and fill out membership forms if needed. We will be starting at 6:30. I will be at the park at 5/5:15 to set up the arrows and ride a quick green loop, feel free to meet me out there before the event if you want to help out!
Course is going to be a counterclockwise loop, stepping it up a notch in length AND difficulty from the first two rounds:
1. Kickapoo Up
2. LT
3. Jubilee
4. Sugar Bottom
5. Watermelon Pass
6. Rock Cut
7. Kettle Moraine
8. Kickapoo Down
ALSO- IF YOU DONT WANT TO RIDE LT, LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME. I WILL ADD 15 MINUTES TO YOUR TIME AND SEND YOU OUT 5-10 MINUTES AFTER THE REST OF THE GROUP, BUT YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE AND BE SCORED.
Hello, work? Yeah, it's Russhole. I have a really important meeting to go to tonight at 6:00. I should be back at 8:30, though.
I may have to grow old, but I'll never have to grow up.
The trails at Scott County Park were closed yesterday so we moved Round 3 to Sunderbruch Park. We had another great turnout with 22 racers, a few new members, and the Keystone was smooth (always smooth, Keith). It was a close race at the front of the pack with Chris Scott nipping Kings by just 3 seconds to take his second win in a row, and Struck threw down a very solid burner to take 3rd place, just 38 seconds out of the win. Ann was on fire last night, putting in the fastest time of the women racers which was good enough for 7th overall! We also had a couple ties for the first time this year (10th place & 20th place)...I offered the racers a chance to break the tie with a sword fight to the death, but they all declined. Speaking of ties...Kings broke the tie for the points lead with his 2nd place performance, and Chris moved into a tie with Neipert for 3rd overall.

Points are updated through round 3. They can be found at the beginning of this thread.
ALSO, we are rescheduling Round 4 to Thursday, July 17 (from July 8) and moving it to Scott County Park (from SBP). We figured everyone will be pretty busy the week before FSTR with the monthly meeting that Monday, and the race that weekend (and all of the prep that goes with it)...add in a TT and it would be a busy FORC'n week!
Friendly reminder that Round 4 of the FORC Time Trial Series is coming up TOMORROW at Scott County Park! Plan on meeting at Buffalo Bill Pavilion unless it is rented by another party, in which case we will meet at the trailhead parking lot. First rider out at 6:30, must be a member in good standing to participate in the TT.
AG is confident that the trails will open up in time, but if they don't the race will be moved to Sunderbruch. Keep an eye on the trail status and this thread for updates.
SCP is OPEN! See y'all this afternoon! I'll be there around 5/5:30 to set things up, let me know if you want to join in on the fun.
I'll be there.
You'd understand if you know what I was talking about.
Break out the single speeds!!
Woooohoooo!
"Start and end at a brewery, and a very cool snow and Ice urban/cross country, lake ride in between with flasks ful of Krakin... YAH MON!!!!" - Vibrato
"Every one of you should ride a bike and be yourself. I really and truly believe that bikes make the world better, and that anyone who spends some time getting used to life on the saddle will find that it makes their life and the world that their life is locked to, better; in almost every way." -Gern Blanston, Surly Bikes
I will be there(clutch)
Thanks to everyone that came out tonight, the trails were in great shape and it was a perfect evening for a swift ride! Some fast times were thrown down on the longest course of the year.
