Wish I had an android for this it's pretty neat. But there is a web version I just put a link on my iPhone. Not sure how accurate it is yet though

Related questions: (wanted to post these under the trail etiquette sticky but that thread is closed)
Is there anyone who can give a sense of how quickly the trail status image is updated?
Or what might be more useful is to get a better sense of when trails are ride-able and when they are not.
Found a good explanation here: http://www.morcmtb.org/forums/trailc...ons.php#Closed
Trail conditions on the FORC homepage are updated when the stewards or trail care crew members have time to check the trails and update the status widget. For SCP and IFP you can also call the park to inquire about trail conditions. We relay closure information from the land managers to our site in those instances so there may be some lag time. Most importantly though is to use good judgment if you encounter questionable conditions to prevent damaging the trail even if the status says open. This is even more important during this time of year because of the soil freeze thaw cycles as we transition into winter.
The app. in the original post pulls information from the websites of the organizations who manage the trails and should be current. Any lag time will again depend on someone having time to check the trails.
