Date Changed to June 28th
As most of you know, we have gotten a fair amount of rain over the last few months. With this said, Jubilee State Park was hit extremely bad and had major flooding and erosion damage. The park finally opened up its trail system this weekend. As you can imagine, the park crew and PAMBA have had quite a bit of work to do. Because of this, it was "strongly suggested" to us to move the date to June 28th to make sure all the necessary trails would be ready for the race. So...the new race date is Sunday June 28th.
I hope everyone gets a chance to come out and join us, racers and families alike. First timers, we have a 3.5 mile lap for you to give this racing a try...all you need to do is finish to get an award! Novice racers you are going to get 2 laps, 7 miles total. Women Open and Sport riders you are up for 16.5 miles of Juby and last but not least, Expert you are at 22 miles of pure fun. Yes, these will be an easier lap than last year, primarily using single track with a little bit of double track. Let's not forget the kids and their beloved bikes for PAMBA's first kids race of the season! See you June 28th!
