    Default Blue on the 15th

I can't make the 22nd trip to Blue Mound but the 15th works for me. Leave sometime in the morning. Ride, go to the Troll, drink and see where the rest of the day takes us. Won't be a real late day because I'm planning on Riding the River on Sunday with my daughter. If any of this plan works in your schedule feel free to join in.

Of Blue isn't rideable the backup plan will be Chicago urban.
You'd understand if you know what I was talking about.

I'm in if I can find a ride.

Wish this was next month, I can't make either date. On the plus side I'll be riding an epic the same day in Arkansas

I'm already committed to the 22nd with Mike, but if he's available to go on this day, I'll be there. Maybe I'll plan on both in case one gets rained out.

Keeping an eye on the weather this Plan A is still Blue and Plan B will be Chicago. Probably meet at my place around 7:30 Saturday morning. It sounds like a good group going so far. Keep an eye on this thread, it could be a last minute decision on which direction we'll head in case you're wondering what bike to bring.

if there are seats, I'll take one too. If not, I can drive and have room for more. Chicago sounds fun too.

Ok so I have myself and 2 more coming with me. Really hoping for blue 2 of us have riden there but if you all head to Chicage, do you have
a specific park in mind so we can prepare maps? Our third is a new rider that we have endurance concerns. We would like to have maps should we need to slow and or rest for him.

If we end up in Chicago you won't need maps. It would be a urban. Park downtown somewhere ride where ever.

Looks like there will be plenty of room for anyone who wants to go. Right now we're keeping a close eye on the weather. Blue has been open as much as SCP this year and is currently closed. They also got hit with rain yesterday. Stay tuned.

    Default Blue is OPEN

As of 11:40 am today, friday the 14th Blue is open. Ranger said trails are good, no rain expected tonight, hit or miss tomorrow. Myself and 2 pals looking forward to riding with a group for the first time for all of us. Will check radar late tonight and early tomorrow. Ranger in at 8 am tomorrow for a follow up call.
If they close overnight, and with the front moving thru here round noon, our 3 plan to head to Kickapoo State park as alternative. No posting of trail conditions at kickapoo for a week though. Urban chicago doesn't appeal to 3 of us.
Hope to see you at Blue, when and where are you meeting/leaving?

I've been to Blue when the rangers say its open after a rain. Not a good experience. We ended up leaving. Now I check the club that maintains the trails. http://www.madcitydirt.com/smf_forum...hp?action=home they are still reporting closed. I'm going to have to respect the clubs decision and not ride there until they open it. Blue isn't a place to ride when it's in iffy condition.

That's a bummer. For those of you who are available next weekend, a few of us are going to Blue (if it's open) on June 22nd, leaving QCA at 7 AM. There's a separate thread: http://www.qcforc.org/showthread.php...und-Bound-6-22
    I wanna ride!
