"Start and end at a brewery, and a very cool snow and Ice urban/cross country, lake ride in between with flasks ful of Krakin... YAH MON!!!!" - Vibrato
"Every one of you should ride a bike and be yourself. I really and truly believe that bikes make the world better, and that anyone who spends some time getting used to life on the saddle will find that it makes their life and the world that their life is locked to, better; in almost every way." -Gern Blanston, Surly Bikes
okay, that being said........ where do we hang out Sat. night? staying and the ****hole baymont in Davenport.......
I guess that depends on what you want to do. Course setup is Saturday afternoon at the Island, and there are plenty of things to do within minutes of there. Downtown Moline. Restaurants, bars, etc.
The QC River Bandits are playing in Davenport Saturday night at 7. Great place to see a ballgame as it is next to the river and in downtown Davenport.
I'll just be at home saying my prayers and eating my vitamins, BAU.

Daisy Dooks isn't too far from your hotel...
So, do I even want to know........
Stop by the island Saturday afternoon. We won't be hard to find. Then follow us to the closest watering hole.
You'd understand if you know what I was talking about.
Any plan for course set up tomorrow?

"I've spent half of my life riding a bike, the other half I wasted!"
what's really awesome is that people travel "400 MILES" to do this race. Thank you to everyone that comes from out of town...
I may have to grow old, but I'll never have to grow up.
