Default Sylvan Island, Saturday morning (3/23/13), 8:30ish

A friend of mine hasn't ever ridden Sylvan and wants to race the Stampede, so we're riding there Saturday around 8:30 -- before the temps warm enough that things get slimy. The more the merrier! I am sure we will be taking in sustenance afterward...
    I wanna ride!

I plan on being there for some intense training.

Experiencing the world through second hand information isn’t enough. If we want authenticity we have to initiate it. We will never know our full potential unless we push ourselves to find it.

Any problems with a newbie joining in?

Everyone is welcome. If we find varying riding speeds of those who show up, splitting up will happen here and there but we can regroup occasionally.

There is a problem if you don't join. :)

Ballz...that's just funny. I like it.

I wish i could ride, but I'll be working.

Well lucky for me there won't be any problems! Sent all my paperwork in a few weeks ago! Although never did hear back about it..... Hmmm....

Hmmmm....Now that you mention it, there is an envelope addressed to FORC sitting on my desk at work that I forgot to process at first and has now become part of the scenery. I'm sorry. It's right next to my keyboard. I will stop ignoring it on Monday. Promise. We really should update the FORC'n mailing address to one that arrives at a residence of someone who doesn't have a scattered brain.

That 2.69% was to cover myself if I overslept, and that's exactly what happened. Hope you guys had fun.

Seemed only good frozen. We called it a day at about 10:30 because the trails were slimy.

Funny story - we were taking a break by the pavilion today and a coyote comes from our right and jets across the bridge and on down the bike path. Soooo, that was neat.

I ran into him twice on the trails today. Pretty big yote.

Yup, to my knowledge its race ready. Just waiting for better weather.
You'd understand if you know what I was talking about.
