Teams of 2 to 5 participants set out to solve a series of clues to find checkpoints located throughout the Quad Cities where they must take photos or perform challenges in a race to the finish. It is up to you to figure out the best order to complete your challenges and get back to the finish line before anyone else! You may walk, run, ride a bike or use public transportation to get to checkpoints. Sometimes the smart move is to run and other times a bus may be the way to go. You decide! The Challenges will be mental or physical challenges such as climbing a wall, shooting baskets, solving a riddle, or eating something (no slimy bugs – we sort of promise). You may choose not to accept a challenge and take a penalty before continuing to the next checkpoint. Teams must get their passport stamped for successful completion of challenges.
Each team will be given a passport with 15 individual challenges at the start of the event. Teams will be required to complete at least 12 of the 15 challenges and a minimum of four in each category. The challenges will be in three categories: Brain Teasers, Puzzles/Riddles, Physical.
and for those of you multi-sporter's, an Xterra tri: 8/17/13 Saturday, south of Jubilee Park.
