    35° at 4pm. Probably won't be good.

Snow is melting and the ground is definitely greasy near Illiniwek (trails closed anyways) but I would expect similar conditions at all trails today. I would recommend sticking to pavement based on the current conditions.

So much for being an optimist. Thats hearty kick a guy while he's down. Guess I'll go jump my bike off a bridge. Sniffle.

I cannot ride but if anyone wants to grab a beer and some grub tonight let me know. Im going crazy not being able to ride.

Rookies does have $1 burgers 5-9 and then $1 bottles after 9.
Experiencing the world through second hand information isn’t enough. If we want authenticity we have to initiate it. We will never know our full potential unless we push ourselves to find it.

I put in a 25 mile road ride on my Pugsley last week. I'm still sore from it.

I got in some decent rides on my Muk last season. Two or three 60-70 mile'ers and a one ~110. Little extra pressure in the tires and it wasn't too bad. No way would I do it on my Nate/Bud tire combo though!!

That's nuts. I had 18#s in mine & it was a rough ride. Oddly, I'm planning on more or less the same ride on saturday, with 10 miles of singletrack added into it with a buddy who races a ss29er, so the pace should be brisk.
