was last there on saturday for the garlic pull and rode a loop. there are spots in LT that were VERY SOGGY but the main green and blues that i rode were ok. with the massive amounts of rain since then, i'm sure LT is terrible still. i am gonna try and get out there tomorrow and walk a loop or so to check it out, though it is calling for rain tonight..............

just talked with the trail steward and he thinks it's still gonna be too wet in general with ground conditions out there.

RIDING NOT ADVISED per trail steward............ thanks for your support.

    Default Sunderbruch 5/2/09 closed

About 90% of the blue and green are in good shape but the 10% is keeping the trails closed. I spent a couple of hours draining water from 2 inch deep tire tracks and trying to smooth some of the damage caused by riders using the trails when common sense should say DO NOT RIDE!

There are 3 trees down that I saw. A really big tree fell on Palos starting at the second log drop. Two trees are down at the start of Jubilee going counter clockwise.

With Sat and Sundays dry weather, SBP should be ready to go by Monday if the trees are cleared. Anyone want to try a dusk/night ride at SBP Monday night after the meeting?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Default SBP Conditions 5/4/09 Green/Blue/Palos open

I was out at SBP Sunday Evening and things are pretty good.

The Green and Blue are ready to ride with the following two exceptions:
1.Long up hill on Jubilee, standing water in tire tracks....please walk around

    2. Sugar Bottom /Farmdale intersection by cemetry...same thing
Dru_b is out working on these now....

Palos good to go with a new feature. The log ride is off the right of the regular trail so it is optional.

LT still has a number of wet spots and I did not get a chance look at Blue Mound.

    Respect Your Trails!

    Thanks,

    Mark

did what i could for drainage and clearing of the deep mud on jubilee uphill and sugar bottom/farmdale area. the jubilee hill up will be soggy for a while so just walk it, it's not that bad i did it in my lap today. the other areas are traversable i think just be choosy in your line, try and stay away from the real deep stuff. it's REALLY SOFT.

i made a lap after working, riding all but LT. and blue mound. ran across a fella that had ridden on blue mound that said it wasn't bad at all. everything else is definately rideable unless noted here.

    enjoy

O yeah and the new log ride is sweet its almost like I am back at Ray's.
