    BTW-- Snowstar, our local skill hill, has more Vertical Drop then the place in Milwaukee. HMMMM

    has anyone considered approaching the management at Snowstar about developing a lift trail?

    Considered, yes.

    Taken action? No.

    At this point, we aren't prepared for projects like this. However, I'm hoping/working/aspiring to change that. ;-)

    That's not entirely true. Back in the early day he was approached a few times from FORC members. He's response was mostly insurance related. Also didn't want a "flash in the pan" so to speak. With the lack of a huge moutain bike population, and a even smaller down hill group, didn't want to go through all the work for a "maybe".

    Or in other words could he turn a profit.

    That's fair enough. I imagine that the regional mtb community is not quite robust enough to justify the capital expenditure as it might be, closer to a large metropolitan area. Let's do something about that!

    DH at Snowstar would be worse than skiing Snowstar.
