    Default Trail Day - Sunday 5/13/12 @ 9am

    Let's get rollin...

Yes, I know...it's Mother's Day. So, kiss your mom and tell her you love her but your mountain bike obsession comes before her. Kidding...relax.

We're looking at no more than a few hours of work; shouldn't be working past noon cuz there's a party I've gotta get to. How much HFDB'n you do once we're done is up to you.

    Tasks:
    -build a bridge
    -tack decking on 2 bridges
    -install drainage tubes
    -build trail

    Tools:
    -rogue hoes
    -flat shovels
    -pointed shovels
-cordless impact drivers w/many extra batteries
    -chainsaws w/fuel
    -wheelbarrow
    -garden rake
    -tamper
    -mccloud

We'll have all the materials needed to build the next 6' x 20' bridge as well as what's needed to attach the decking to the other 2 bridges.

Depending on turnout, we'll likely split up into a few different crews. Have one build the bridge, another do the decking on the other bridges, a few peeps to install the drainage tiles, and a few more to build trail.

We've got A TON of work that needs done but I feel good about getting it all done before the Fest because we've got A TON of peeps chomping at the bit to contribute to this project.

Ankle-supported footwear is recommended due to the steep side slopes we'll be working on. Also, the weeds are growing pretty tall so you may wanna wear long pants too. Gloves are always helpful.

Bring a snack or two and your favorite beverage of course.

    See ya there!
    "ya, well...that's like...your...opinion. man."
