Stan's - Now I get it
Who's all running tubeless with Stan's rims?
Thinking about trying tubeless, built up a wheelset with Stan's Arch 29er rims, Stan's yellow rim tape, and Panaracer Rampage 2.35s. Pretty much needed levers to get them installed. Coming off should be a treat... Not. Since these won't get much use for a while, I decided to start with tubes, then convert over to tubeless this spring. I'm starting to understand why you want to use tubeless with Stan's rims.... cause the tires fit so tight you don't want to ever take them off to repair a tube!
I've been running these tires on a variety of rims for about 5 years now, have always been able to easily go on and off by hand, never need a lever. Is this tight of a fit typical with these rims??
Rg.
Haters gonna hate.
