Sunderbruch - Repairing Damaged Trail - Saturday 6/08/19 @9am
Meet in the parking lot at 9am Saturday June 8th to lend a hand in repairing damaged sections of trail from all the rain.
Sunderbruch has taken a pretty big hit from the extensive rainfall we've had over the past month or two.
Depending on the amount of people that come out on Saturday we'll be working on the following areas:
- Resetting washed out rocks on both LT creek crossings and digging out all the sand on the second one
- Building new water crossing on LT right before the downhill to the first creek crossing
- Fixing a bermed turn on Jubilee after the two wood berms due to that section starting to slide down to the ravine
- Digging in a reroute on Blue Mound around the substantial hill slide that happened at the first horse crossing
- Kick Down deberming and wet sections repair work
These repairs will be a huge step in getting SBP safely opened.
If someone wants to just run the backpack leaf blower, I'll have that available too. Jubilee would be the first loop that needs to be done.
I'll also have a couple weed eaters if we have more people than tools available. Getting all the weeds cut back will be the next big project.
I'll have an extra flat shovel and a 4 rogue hoes available.
You'll want BUG SPRAY, long pants, work gloves, and sturdy shoes
Hope to see you out there!!
