No, Yeti did not personally weld this bike together himself, but his design was ground breaking at the time for creating light and fast, kick ass mountain bikes for Schwinn. As for this particular bike, the frame is in excellent condition - no peeling paint or decals, no nicks or scratches in any obvious parts. I'd say this bike weighs in in the low 20's. The fork is an air shock - Aeris Spinner. It needs air. The frame is 18". I'm 5'10" with a 32" inseam. It fits me on the good to smaller side. If you're 5'6" or so, this will be great. If you're 6', check out the Jamis Dakota Elite I have for sale instead.
