I noticed a "park closes as dusk, gates will be locked" sign. Are they bluffing, or do we need to worry about getting locked in during a night ride?

That will be awesome for the hot summer days. It will be nice to sit in the shade and drink a nice cold beer rather then in the blazing sun. Sun is nice, dont get me wrong, but drinking a nice cold one in the shade is better.
