I think it rides great! It fits right in with the rest of the action at SCP and the bridge is really impressive...Nice work! There is so much more new trail out there than the beginning of last year. I rode hard the entire time and it still took me an entire hour to ride the whole system. That rocks!
There are a few muddy spots on the newest loop that are going to need attention but I'm shocked at how well "rode in" the new trails already are considering the park's been "closed" all year. Overall the trails are clear except a few spots on Cannon Loop that are covered in Oak leaves.
Thanks to all that put in so much work out there. Job well done in my opinion...

Indeed the south loop is open and rides like a dream. Turtle bridge is a gas and other than a few wet spots early in the pines the rest is smooth and dry. My computer put it at 1.75 miles. Thanks to the builders and installers of the bridge and everyone who put in time on the trail, especially the NSRTC (North Scott Retiree Trail Crew) the work those guys have done out there is impressive. Thanks to all. Get out and ride it while we can, it's open as of this writing but assume it is closed as soon as you see the first rain drop. I clocked the entire system at 8.4 miles and smiled the whole way through. Thank you everyone; can't wait to build more. To the bikes!

Sorry my friend, but at this time the trails at ScoCoPa close at dark. So no night riding out there. Would be a gas though, especially the new trail.

First time I was able to ride the new stuff tonight. It was perfect! And yes park does close at dark, so the range told us...

    Default Where exactly

If SCP opens this weekend, I hope to get out there. Is the new section obvious in relation to what's already there or is there a separate trailhead? Many thanks to all those that kick-ass at trail work!

enter the trailhead at pride lake. take the right onto the doubletrack up the short hill, another right onto grassy doubletrack, then left onto the singletrack. that's the start of the new southern loop.

    enjoy!

Thanks, so pretty much enter as normal, and the trail will hook up with the new loop - probably a right turn somewhere along the line?

The entrances to the Northern and Southern loops were reworked. So in other words the old northern loop entrance turned into the new Southern loop entrance. When you exit the Southern loop it takes you right into the Northern stuff. Enjoy
