Mtn Biking, Golf, Charity in Chicago...

I'm looking for two generous bike and golf enthusiasts to join Bart Reed and I on Thursday, Sept 24th. We did this last year and had an absolute blast. Here's the plan...

Leave fairly early Thursday morning to get a nice, long ride in at Palos and possibly Saw Wee Kee along the way (check out http://cambr.org). Early afternoon we'll head to Ruffled Feathers Golf Course in Lemont, IL. (www.ruffledfeathersgc.com) for the Harley Knosher Golf Classic which is a big fundraiser for Knox College Athletics. I'll tell you this, the course is beautiful and this is the one day you can golf it and shoot a 118 (like me) and no one cares! $175 - the cost for the charity golf outing - covers you for the entire day...I'll drive you there (and back), pick up your food, and buy your beers. We'll golf the afternoon, hit the clubhouse for dinner and a ****tail and be on our merry way back to the QC. The money goes to a noble cause and I guarantee you'll have a great time all day long. Palos is a blast and Bart is about as fun to golf with as Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack.

If anyone is wondering: "****tail" is "male chicken, rooster"-tail. Not "piece of..." That would not be included in the $175 price.

C'mon...You mean that no one wants to fork over $175 for golf in the midst of the biggest recession since the Great Depression?!? Did I mention that Palos is sweet!?!
