Default Gary Fisher Road Bikes ??????????

I was just looking at the Gary Fisher website and saw that they had a line of road bikes for 2009. I guess the TREK family felt that they needed to replace the Lemond line. For my part, I'm torn between..wow that's kind of cool, and.... what a sell out.

Does it have pedals and two wheels? Then it's cool...

It's a little known fact that Gary Fisher himself was a road racer long before he even though about pushing his Klunker with a single speed and coaster brake up Mt Tam.

In the documentary "Klunkerz" Gary and other riders explain how they were riding around the bases of these mtns for years on their road bikes without a thought as to what it would be like to ride off road, lucky for us he did finaly seek out other adventures that would eventually lead into the birth of the mtn bike as we know it.

I also just came across a little documentary about Fisher at youtube entitled Gary Fisher's Long Strange Trip, it's pretty cool check it out

Sellout ...No, Innovator and Mad Genius  ...Yes!

Gotta say that the Fish is one progressive thinker / dreamer. Great advocate for the sport, all aspects.

Road bikes? Heck, TREK had to do something with the Lemond line eh? The Presidio cross bike is niiiiiiiiice; IMO.
