2023 Board Nominations
At the January membership meeting (1/2/2023) we will be holding our annual board election. During this cycle the positions below will be on the ballot and are open for nominations.
President - The President's duties include organizing and setting the agenda for board and general membership meetings, promoting trails and other land use issues, trail maintenance, race promotion and other responsibilities determined by agreement with the other officers. This position is retained for a 2 year period with elections being held on odd years.
Vice President - The Vice President's duties include membership issues, fundraising, and other responsibilities determined by agreement with the other officers. The Vice President will also support the duties of the president. This position is retained for a 2 year period with elections being held on odd years.
Public Relations Manager - Responsible for new member promotion, media contacts, press releases, and other responsibilities by agreement with the other officers. (1 yr term)
Web Director - Duties include website maintenance and design, and other responsibilities by agreement with the other officers. (1 yr term)
Insurance Manager - The Insurance Manager is responsible for all aspects of club liability and insurance issues, and other responsibilities by agreement with the other officers. (1 yr term)

If you would like to be added to the ballot for any of these positions please let us know. Nominations will be taken until December 31st 2022 to give us time to create ballots before the election on January 2nd 2023. If you serve in one of these positions know that you will have the support of past and current board members at your disposal if you have any questions. Please keep in mind this is a volunteer club. This isn't a second job. Anyone who takes a position can always delegate some of their responsibilities to make it easier and take up less of there time.
