Dorrance - Fri. 4/1 @ 4pm

Starting our spring cleanup and maintenance at Dorrance this Friday. There are reports of a few bigger trees down from the wind and some trail repairs that need to be made from the rains.

Meet in the inner parking lot by the kiosk at 4pm. I'll have an assortment of tools available (rogue hoes, flat shovels, rakes, etc). Handsaws, rogue hoes, flat shovels, and wheelbarrows will be the most useful for this kind of work. We'll start walking trail and fixing issues as we find them.

Tips for Volunteering for Trailwork

Walked the entire Black Loop removing all the deadfall and inspected/cleared most of the deadfall on the Blue Loop. Haven't gotten to the Green Loop yet. Trails are still very soft on the north aspect slopes and lower areas and are going to need more time to dry out to support bike tires.
