FORC'n DURO 9/18/21

There's still time to DURO! All are invited to join in for the whole day or just ride the parks. Join in anytime for a ride and to cheer riders on! Ride starts in DeWitt at 7:00am and will finish at Dorrance with 1st riders expected in @ 6:00pm (everyone will be on their own schedule). Follow this thread Saturday to check on their progress. Weather was perfect for the 7th annual FORC’n Duro. 34 riders lined up for the pre-ride picture. 28 of those finished, the most ever to finish this event. 11 others joined in for a portion of the day, either having to leave early, starting late, or joining some trails.

Big thanks to Lee Bower and Joe and Kelley Porter for supporting us all day. As we get faster riders in this event, it’s become increasing more difficult to keep everyone with food and drinks, but these guys killed it.

More thanks go to Danny Hanker, Rick Wren, Ben Hartley, and Drew Hanson for marking the trails, it was very helpful. And, as always, can’t thank the trail stewards and volunteers enough that build and maintain these great trails in our area.
