Road tripping to Colorado July 18-26 and have room if a couple more people want to tag along. Planning on taking 2 vehicles as of now. 4 of us are currently going (Zach, Jacob, Kyle, and myself); have room for 2 more people in these vehicles.

Leaving early Saturday morning from Port Byron, IL. We should get to CO by 8-9pm.

Plan is to camp near Salida Saturday through Tuesday. Trails we plan on riding in this area: Monarch Crest, Cottonwood, Arkansas Hills Trial System.

Wednesday morning we'll drive up towards Crested Butte to ride Doctor Park. May stop for a short ride at Hartman Rocks in Gunnison since it's on the way.

Thursday through Sunday we'll be at Trestle Bike Park. Renting a condo that can sleep 7 and is about half a mile from the lifts. Trestle will be open but it sounds like the number of lift tickets sold per day may be limited due to COVID. Lift tickets need to be purchased online at least 48hrs in advance. We're going to wait until a few weeks out to buy ours.

Condo buy-in will be ~$1400 split by however many people stay. Also expect to pay a share of gas (~$90) and food.

What to expect when riding:
- Monarch Crest: high alpine singletrack and epic 3000' descent(s). Gorgeous views. The air gets thin up here.
- Cottonwood: Easy 7mi gravel road climb to the top, flowy descent leading into chunky canyon riding.
- Arkansas Hills: Easy singletrack climb to the top from Salida, wide range of trail difficulty, rocky semi-arid terrain. Lots of technical and some flow trails.
- Hartman Rocks - Giant boulders, lots of exposed slickrock, dessert/scrubland type terrain.
- Doctor Park: Difficult 3mi fire road climb followed by 6 miles of epic downhill. One of the best trails in CO.
