First ride Illiniwek 8/1-question

Greetings from a GORC trail steward from St Louis. I had a very enjoyable ride at Iliniwek last night, I have to ask, Whats up with the sheer cliff on the south loop prior to the bermed features? that has to be a 80+ foot sheer drop. Just curious about it if anyone cares to comment. Thanks David K

It's an old landslide scarp caused by bank erosion from the creek below. A cool overlook spot and unique geologic feature at the park. There are others like it on the property but are not accessible by trail.
