The Wausau 24 was a great ride this year!! Ho Chi Men and Root Canal still suck after about 4 hours in- but they're fun the first couple of laps!! Kelly Porter, Sorya Nees, Indy and Skinny pitted for us. We can now attest that pickle juice is indeed the miracle cure for cramping up!!

FORC members turning notable performances:

Kurt Davis- who never trained once- busted out 50+ miles in the 12 hour solo. (That's like doing 5 laps at Scocopa!)
Joe Porter (Juicywipe) turned 105+ miles in the 12 hour solo for 5th place in Solo Mens masters.
Ray Nees (me) turned 118+ miles for 2nd in Solo Mens Masters
Rick Wren rolled 132+ miles for 5th in the 24 hour Solo Mens Masters
Ben Dalbey spun 170+ miles for 4th in the Solo Mens.

Bens whole family gets in to the act and rode awesome!!

Special thanks to Indy for running into town to get me brake pads, and to Skinny for changing them out in a sub 4 minute stop!!

And there are now 4 FORCers who have completed a 24 hour race- Ray Nees- 2009, Mike Kinney- 2016, Rick Wren and Ben Dalby- 2017. Nice riding, People! Pushing for 24 hours is no joke!!!!
