2010 Trek 1.1 WSD 54cm & 2014 Cannondale Synapse 105 5 Disc 54cm
Any fellow road toads out there?
Deciding to thin the fleet out a bit, I mean who needs 4 road bikes?!
2010 Trek 1.1 WSD 54cm: $200
Entry level women's road bike by Trek. Aluminum Alloy Fork/Frame, Shimano 2300 component set. Completely stock, and had the cables/chain replaced by Jerry & Sparky's Spring 2015. (Their typical $55 package for lube, inspection, checks, etc) (Saddle has an abrasion on the side/bottom from tipping over in the garage.) Currently does not have pedals as my wife brought her SPD clipless to her new bike. I can toss on some basic metal flats if necessary.
2014 Cannondale Synapse 105 5 Disc 54cm: $700
Just-above-entry-level men's "endurance road" bike by Cannondale. Endurance road is still a road bike just with a slightly less aggressive stance for the all-day rider. Perfect for beginners, touring, RAGBRAI, etc. Carbon fork, aluminum alloy frame. Shimano 105 component set w/ mechanical disc brakes. Most recently raced it in the Quad City Triathlon, and the last 2 days of RAGBRAI. Was inspected at Jerry & Sparky's July 2015 for routine maintenance. Will come with a set of SPD-SL road pedals. I believe they are Shimano R540's, basic model.
Reasons for selling: Wife got a new carbon bike, doesn't need her entry level anymore. I am upgrading to an Ultegra elite road, so replacing my 105 endurance.
