gotta take my hat off to Keen and their customer support!

I know there's many people in the club that wear Keen's, and many others that may be considering purchasing a pair. If you are on the fence, go for it...

Last year, while riding at Kettle Moraine, one of the laces on my Keen's broke. I procrastinated and did nothing about it up until last month (yes, I waited from last spring 2008, until this spring 2009 to do something about it...so what). I simply sent an email stating that my laces had broke and was asking them what I could do, I even offered to pay for a set. Instead, I had a brand new set of laces and hardware within 4 days of my email, sent free of charge and they paid for shipping. Awesome!

So this morning I am finally getting around to putting the new laces on. While reading the instructions I understand why Keen is so ridiculously cool:

"Step 8: you are done with one shoe. Finish the other, grab a cold drink and put your feet up."

Way to go Keen. If we ever meet in person, I'll buy the beers.
