The Trail Care Crew needs your help!

Work has begun on the new flow/jump line at Sunderbruch Park.

The plan for Sunday will be to *CLEAR THE CORRIDOR* See the image below for the planned route.

Work will continue on just after the first large switchback, working our way down the line towards the exit at the Comlara/Blue Mound intersection.

We'll be clearing the corridor, pretty wide, so we can quickly begin constructing the trail tread.

Tools -- bring rogue hoes (I'll have 2 extra), loppers, shovels, & we'll need a few chainsaws (2 or 3 will be plenty).

Forecast is calling for temps in the upper 30s/low 40s for the day so dress appropriately. You'll want gloves to protect from the mofoRo and sturdy boots as we're working on the side slope and the ground is reasonably soft.

If we have a turnout of 8-10 people, we should get the corridor cleared within the planned time.

I'd like to see us wrap things up around 11am.

This trail is a venture into a new arena for FORC trail builders in terms of designing and constructing jumps, so we're hoping to get strong participation with the construction as well as input on the design and placement of the planned features from those with experience.

Hope to see you Sunday!
