IFP Trailwork: Wed. 6/18 & Fri.6/20 @ 4:30 pm

We will be out working on the big log ride again this week Wednesday and Friday. Meet in the upper south loop parking lot (by the salt dome) at 4:30 or if you can't make it that early refer to this map for where we will be working.

We still need to move a few more large logs into position and cut them to fit together.

If you have equipment that would be helpful for moving large logs (18" dia. x 8' long) bring it out. A portable electric winch and/or some snatch blocks and about 100' of strong rope would be very helpful.

Don't forget to dress to combat the bugs (ideally no exposed skin).

Going to start a little later Friday. New time is 6:00. Hopefully it will have cooled off some by then.

This log ride is going to be +45' long when completed and uses +18" diam. oak logs. Still need a few more days to put the finishing touches on it.
