Newbie/No Rider Left Behind Ride #3 -- Tuesday, May 13th at 6 PM

Curious about mountain biking? Join FORC for a beginner ride (weather permitting)
and discover the pure joy of riding single track. We will discuss bike handling, rider positioning, clearing obstacles, and basic maintenance, then we will go on a “no rider left behind” ride where we’ll stop and examine obstacles, and practice our skills according to your comfort level. Most rides will last about an hour and a half.

When: 6:00 PM -- May 13th (the final session will be May 20th and cookout)
Where: Sunderbruch Park, Davenport, IA

What to bring?
A mountain bike, helmet, bottle of water, enthusiasm
*Please be equipped on the trail with a spare innertube, tire levers, CO2 and/or pump so that you're not stuck in the event that you get a flat tire.

Will the forecasted rain this afternoon mess us up for Tuesday? Maybe. Maybe not. We were supposed to have wicked storms last night and everything broke up. Maybe the same will happen today/tonight. Stay tuned for an update if we do get rain. The trails very dry, and Tuesday is supposed to be rain-free. Fingers crossed. Our very own Russhole will be back in action for our Tuesday NRLB ride. Sigh. Not enough wind or warm temps to dry our trails enough for us to ride tonight. NRLB #3 is being rescheduled to next Tuesday - May 20th. Until then, keep the rubber side down!
