Default Trail Work on the Jump Line @ Sunderbruch

    This Sunday, 11/14 @ 8am.

Yes, I know there's a large project going on at Illiniwek *AND* I'd love to be a part of it and help out *BUT*, just as Drew and the IFP Trail Care Crew are scrambling to get as much done now before the ground freezes, we're facing the same threat at Sunderbruch.

    SO...

I'm not asking anyone to pick and choose where they want to focus their efforts this weekend... Sunderbruch's project on Sunday needs ~6 peeps to show up--myself, Kings, and Russ are definitely gonna be there. And, the volunteers in this club never cease to amaze with their ability to get the job done when the bell rings.

The City dropped off the dirt so we're gonna be moving dirt to a few different locations, building another large drop, and shaping the landing on the 2 drops. We likely will move some rock into place as well.

Planning on working no later than 11am, weather permitting.

I can do 8am, and move stompin & race recon back to noon (new post coming).
I offer up the old Dodge; it can haul a load to lotta places w/minimal terrain damage and not worried about scratches. Have hefty wheelborrow too, lemme know.

    Sounds good.

I think the City dumped the dirt pretty close to the top of the work area so wheelbarrows will be the proper tool of choice. If you have one, bring it!

First off, thank for becoming a member. Membership dues are what make it possible to build bad-ass trails. Next i think it's still a go. Check back here in the morn.

We are planning on working tomorrow.

    8am.

Bring a shovel. And coffee. And whiskey.
