With the help of some fellow LIVESTRONG supporters in the Quad Cities, we are thrilled to announce:

Inaugural Tour de Brew of the Quad Cities benefitting the LIVESTRONG Foundation

Our hope is that you will all come out and ride to help raise awareness for the LIVESTRONG Foundation and to raise funds to help provide FREE Cancer Navigation Services to people fighting this horrible disease (Tina lost a child to cancer).

DETAILS:

Saturday, April 12
Meet at Front Street Tap Room in Davenport
Registration starts at Noon, the ride starts at 1 PM.

The ride will be a poker ride forma. For a donation of your choosing to the LIVESTRONG Foundation, you will be eligible to collect a card at each of our partnered bars and restaurants. The ride is open to all styles of bikes and rider abilities. The course will follow the bike trail and totals roughly 25 miles if you opt to ride to each poker stop. Ride at your own pace and have fun!

Stops along the way (ride in any order you prefer):

• Great River Brewery (will be tapping a new small-batch series beer, the "Golden Keg" at 1 PM and food at 2 PM -- first keg is free)
• Bent River Rock Island
• IT's
• Steele Head Tavern
• Pub 1848
• Bent River Moline

All riders need to be back at the starting point by 5 PM where poker hands will be revealed. Winner with the best hand will win a gift basket. A tie will be decided by a game of Liar’s Poker.

This ride is to share the mission of the LIVESTRONG Foundation and have a great time riding a bike with Friends.

The LIVESTRONG Foundation empowers the cancer community to address the unmet needs of cancer survivors. LIVESTRONG helps with insurance challenges, treatment concerns, emotional and peer support, fertility preservation, and clinical trial matching they want to make sure the money they raise is helping people TODAY!
