also, for everyone going... a trail pass will need to be purchased at the guard shack upon arrival. $4/person for the day.

vehicles are also required to purchase an admission ticket. $10/vehicle for the day.

annual passes are available as well but being this far into the year, an annual pass doesn't make sense for me.

looks like the NWS is predicting between 0.10" and 0.25" precip to fall near Blue Mound today/tonight, with precipitation ceasing at 10-ish pm.

I'm just gonna keep an eye on the madcitydirt forum...not interested in riding wet trails at Blue, not one dirty bit.

Is there anywhere else around there or Madison that would be worth it?

    not for me.

It's either Blue or, if Blue isn't rideable, a morning stomp.

seems like a pretty solid plan B to me.

A stomp sounds like a great plan B.

Two calls in to the Ranger...trails closed. They're expecting a bit more rain tonight as well.

Rained out of another Blue trip. Bummer.

    Plan B.

I'll relay onto Kyle. Comlara is awesome. The race wasn't too great, but the trails are fun as hell. It sure does look like they're going to get hammered by rain, though.

Blue Mounds sucks. Every time I try to get there, it rains. I just looked at the radar and it looks like Comlara is about to get hit. I don't have hurt ribs, but looks like it might end up TV day. I'll get up and check things out. give me a holler.

I like the stomping idea even though I'm still without fat bike.
Experiencing the world through second hand information isn’t enough. If we want authenticity we have to initiate it. We will never know our full potential unless we push ourselves to find it.
