Group ride for the holiday weekend at scp?

Wondering if we could get something going for those of us that can't go out of town this next weekend?

Thinking SCP cause its easiest for kids and ill I have my oldest that weekend, promised him a ride there this season.

I know Bex has a sugarbottom trip (cant go to that either :( )for Saturday so I'm thinking Sunday or Monday.

Post up if interested and with anything ur want to add. I figuring me,wife,son will make a afternoon/evening picnic outta it since i have canopy, tiny grill (if allowed without ranger getting peeved) and such.

Can't ride during the week I work second shift so stuck to weekends only. And being I'm in my first 60days I can't play hooky from work yet.

Well what time of day u guys thinking. I know earlier is usually the thing but I'm figuring say noonish I when well get there. Maybe push it as early as 11 but well be there most of the day (bringing car and truck so wife has AC in the car if needed).

So Sunday is the plan then!

Totally get the fam-coordination. Still supposed to be pretty warm on Sunday. High Noon may be pretty warm to ride. I'm interested but on the fence. May see how warm it gets. May ride earlier. May join you. Good grief , the blond is coming out. Decisions, decisions! Sorry.

Help as hot as I was wednesday they closed the plant till 7 so I hit the pavement for a bit.

Ya i just noticed that too so ill watch the weather carefully since front is supposed to come through to cool things off. I don't mind the heat myself but could get too hot for boy to be riding in it.

I have to take him home Monday afternoon (lives in davenport with his mom) so ill be riding evening time somewhere Monday too haven't decided where though.

Sorry bud but it looks like we are all meeting up at about 9:30 noon is just gonna be to late for tomorrow. Keep me posted in Monday, tho I have a 5k race in the am on Monday.

No worries. Well try for earlier but being on a second shift sleep schedual makes it hard to be up and worth a crap before 10. Wife said she's staying home and relaxing Monday so I'm sneeking to sunder for evening ride around 4-5ish.

This is the downside to living 45mins north of all u LOL.

Aight after discussion and thought, plus humidity is still nuts and going to be 87 tomorrow...

Too hot for son and almost 8 month prego wife tomorrow by the time well get there.

So going to do this Monday as its going to be perfect out all day.

Same time roughly just Monday instead. Sorry for the late change was hoping we would get lucky with weather.
