I think the big social ride this week is the taco ride on Wed: https://www.facebook.com/home.php?re...n_user_invited followed by 1848 pub in downtown moline. I also plan to head to Scott on Tues. for a medium paced ride @ 5:30. Join in for both!

Good lead in Vondaba. Our friend Ashley wants to introduce her new bar, Pub 1848 to all beer loving FORCERs. On Wednesday, after your ride, at about 7:30-8, stop by the Pub and say Hi. They will have free appetizers for all and if you are a FORC member (in good standing) and roll up on your bike, Ashley will buy your first drink! (find the browns for your free drink ticket) They have a great craft beer selection, both tap & bottle. They also have a full bar. Pub 1848 is at 1601 River Dr in Moline. It's right next to Bass St steakhouse, across the street from the Stoney Creek Inn. It's right on the bike path and they have a great patio out back. So roll on over Wed. 8/21 about 7:30 and check out a cool new beer stop right on the bike path.
