The Dirty Duo

Who? YOU! an individual event designed to introduce you to local trails; no teams.

What? An off-road duo consisting of a 1.5 to 2 mile trail run and an 7-10 mile trail bike ride. An exact route and map will be posted soon.

When? Sunday, October 6th, 2013 at 11.00 am. There is currently no rain date.

Where? Scott County Park, Eldridge, IA. The run will be on open grass and on the single-track trails; the bike portion on the easy non-technical, rolling, double-wide trails. (This can be done on a cyclocross or hybrid bike, but your body will probably prefer a mountain bike.)

How? Limited to 100 preregistered entrants, no race day registration. $20;

Registration will open on July 8th via https://secure.getmeregistered.com/index.php

Socks will be given to each racer.

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies to males & females for 3 age groups: the 'minors', the 'majors', and the 'masters'.

Why? Part of the proceeds will be used to benefit local running & bicycling trails; both paved & unpaved.
