I'm going...not sure if I'll drive up Sat and "tent camp" to check out the trail or just drive up early Sunday morn. Is anyone else going? Maybe we could car-pool?

Looks like I picked up a passanger, We'll leave the Davenport area around 0700 Sunday moring, if your interested in going I have room for at least 1 more in my truck, let me know if your interested, btw..as with all rides, I always bring beer to have after the ride :P

I signed up... in the hopes that the races doesn't get cancelled. Also, USA Cycling is bleeding me dry with another surcharge - this time $3.30 from $2.70 at BP. Plus a $5 non-USAC license fee for the first time? I bought a IVCA membership, too, because it's definitely worth the $10 to support them.

Good news indeed...I'm actually hoping for a lil rain just before the race...I'm all about getting a lil dirty.

Just as we finished marking the course we got hit with a short but intense downpour, so we've made a very difficult decision to reschedule. We feel this decision is best for the trails and rider safety. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Not yet. It'll take a few days for them to get a new date, since no one ever plans for a second rain date.

Illinois Valley Cycling Association - IVCA August 4th is the plan, just have to get the final ok from IDNR..... Looks like it's gonna be rescheduled....gotta decide if I'll do this or Healthy Habits Gravel ride on the 3rd.
