Drop seatpost recommendation

So i am set on picking up a remote drop seatpost and have been looking pretty closely at the ks i900r.

Does anyone have any experience with the company? The reviews i have read have been mostly positive and the price is about right at $250.

This will be going on a Trek Fuel ex8 with a 31.6mm post.

Any recommendations ? anything to stay away from ?

I have a KS dropper on my Transition Bandit 29. The only issue I've had with mine was getting the cable caught on the bulky seatpost clamp, which caused the cable to get pulled out and I would have to stop and re-attach it.

To fix that issue I purchased a Thomson seatpost collar since it's smaller and rounded. I haven't had that issue since.
