    Default Matthiessen

Was anyone thinking about trying to get out to Matthiessen sometime before the race? I'd really like to check it out. Same goes for any of the Illinois race trails.
Experiencing the world through second hand information isn’t enough. If we want authenticity we have to initiate it. We will never know our full potential unless we push ourselves to find it.

The superintendent still has the trails closed, however things are looking pretty good at Matthiessen.

Honestly it wasn't too bad. We did have to do a little work but trails were looking good only a few days later.

    glad to hear!

when we left after the race I thought for sure you guys were going to spend a ton of time repairing the trails.

That's great to hear. I had a lot of fun racing in the mud, even though my bike needed a lot of new parts. I'm looking forward to this year, you guys have a fantastic trail system and race.

that was fun? Bullsh.... I'll go race it again this year only if its dry and no rain coming. I would like to ride that park again. It could be a great race if it's dry.
I may have to grow old, but I'll never have to grow up.
