    Default Thursday Snow Possibilities

".SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM TO ARRIVE ON THURSDAY...
.STRONG LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK OUT OF THE SOUTHERN PLAINS AND
INTO THE MIDWEST ON THURSDAY. MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL DEVELOP IN
EXTREME SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI BY NOON THURSDAY.
THE SNOW WILL THEN SPREAD INTO NORTHEAST IOWA AND WESTERN ILLINOIS
LATER IN THE AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVER ALL THE AREA THURSDAY
NIGHT AND DIMINISH ON FRIDAY. ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 7 INCHES CAN
BE EXPECTED OVER MOST OF THE AREA. EAST WINDS SHOULD INCREASE
THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO THURSDAY NIGHT AND WILL BE GUSTING TO
AROUND 30 MPH. THIS WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF THE
    SNOW." -WQAD/NWA.

When this sucker gets here, I'll be out in it. Hopefully it comes Thursday early afternoon - it would be prime conditions to either stomp Credit and head to Frontstreet Freight for a beer, or do Sylvan (if open)/Bent River. I had only a single speed 29er our first decent snow and if this storm produces anything significant I'm not going to miss out with the Pugs.

    Keep it in mind.

I'm out. I don't like snow or fat bikes.

But really, I can't come stomp but will probably be playing in it on my way to less important things.

"Snow will be slowly developing from south to north starting around the mid afternoon hours. Snow will pick up in ernest that evening and through the overnight hours before tapering on Friday. With the dynamics of this storm looking a little bit better in the past 12 hours I'm going to inch it up by one with snowfall amounts within the immediate Quad Cities around 5 inches by Friday morning." - James Zahara

Regardless of how much snow is falling, I'm going to grab a pint or two tomorrow at Great River from 4is-5ish and then head out to ride from there. Hoping the snow starts earlier than later.

Watching Moab videos over lunch was not a great idea, though I guess it did help take my mind off snow riding briefly.

Ohh to be a tourist again. T minus 19 months (hopefully).
