I just wear the Under Armour Cold Gear long johns then put a pair of shorts overtop to cover up my huge dong
Once you get moving they keep me pretty warm even on pretty cold days.

Fox Huck Pants. Good to about 20. Then I throw some tights on under them and I'm good till about 10. Lots of storage nice Velcro to keep out of the chain rings.
You'd understand if you know what I was talking about.

Well so far all Im doing is UA Coldgear Leggings and a pair of windbreaker pants, I havent tried to ride in the really cold yet so well see. Might have to add some fleece sweat pants in between.

I usually wear jogging pants with sweats underneath, but the knees are wearing out. I just found some DH pants from 2011 on clearance, so I snagged 'em. They're not my favorite, but they look okay and they're on clearance. I too am value oriented. These should hold up a lot better.

my Fox 180 pants came today, so I went to Illinewek to try 'em out. They seem like they'll be plenty warm to as low as 40, and with a pair of tights or sweats they'll be good to whatever. They fit a little weird though. The formed padded knee is about four inches too low. Otherwise they're sweet.

I've been wearing a pair of Olympia Recon pants. I bought them a number of years ago for casual motorcycle street riding, but hadn't used them since I went race-only in 2007. They're extremely durable, made of cordura, with removable padding in the knees and hips. Best of all, the legs zip off above the knees & turn them into shorts. Frankly, above 50º the legs are too warm, but below 40º, they really shine. I wear a pair of sugoi compression shorts underneath for additional padding in the seat area.
