Paddle & Bike this weekend

Anna and I are going to check out an urban section of the Rock River via Bike and Kayak. Will go something like this.

Leave car(1) with bikes at take out of Blackhawk State Park.
Drive car(2) with boat up to Green Valley Sports Complex in Moline.
Paddle down river about 6.5 miles
Lock up Boat at Blackhawk State Park
Ride bikes back to starting point about 8 miles.
Pick up boat and go home.

If anyone is interested in doing this (or something like this) with us let us know.

This sounds like a ton of fun! We kayaked a bunch this past week in Wisconsin and I wanna do more. But, we will be at the Farmdale Fest this weekend. :( Please post if you do this again.

Good question!? Not even sure of the day. Probably Saturday about 10 am. But could be Sunday.

I only got to do the bike portion of Taming and wouldn't mind a little of both. Sunday morning is out for me, I've got the first leg of a marathon relay. I might be able to swing a noonish start on Sunday.

Saw the "flyer" earlier this week. A couple buddies and I are thinkin' about it. Looks fun.
